Getting to Know Our Team – Laurie Herrera
Laurie Herrera is a paralegal here at Batley Family Law, P.A. She primarily works with Sheryl Saavedra. Laurie got her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and she has an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. Prior to working at Batley Family Law she was a paralegal at a foreclosure law firm here in Albuquerque. Laurie’s background and extensive knowledge has proven invaluable in her role here at Batley Family Law. We often pick her brain about procedures and available resources when dealing with issues relating to property, deeds and mortgages.
Laurie has enjoyed the transition into family law particularly because every case is different, which presents new challenges and new opportunities to learn.
Laurie prides herself on being very organized. She is sure to know what deadlines are approaching in each case she is working on, and she works hard to keep each case moving forward to a resolution. Laurie has two daughters and a step-daughter. She also has two very sweet granddaughters that she enjoys spending time with whenever she has the chance! She loves doing crafts and does beautiful machine embroidery work.
